Social Media Coordinator / Digital Content & Social Media Executive

Job Responsibilities |
|
|
|
1) Manage Social Media Accounts |
|
- Oversee daily activity on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Google review etc.
- Monitor comments, messages, and interactions.
|
|
2) Customer Engagement |
|
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and complaints.
- Handle direct messages, comments, and reviews to maintain a positive online reputation.
- Engage with the audience by liking, commenting, and sharing relevant content.
|
|
3) Content Creation & Curation |
|
- Develop and execute content strategies.
- Create original posts, images, videos, and other media for social channels.
- Write engaging captions, blog posts, and social media copy.
|
|
4) Visual Content Management |
|
- Upload, manage, and organize images, videos, and graphics.
- Collaborate with graphic designers and photographers to produce high-quality visual content.
- Ensure consistent visual identity across all social platforms.
|
|
5) Social Media Strategy & Analytics |
|
- Develop strategies to grow social media followers and increase engagement.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as likes, shares, and click-through rates.
- Analyze trends, monitor competitor activities, and report on social media performance.
|
|
6) Campaign Management |
|
- Plan and execute social media campaigns aligned with broader marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote products, events, or campaigns.
|
|
7) Crisis Management |
|
- Handle negative feedback, crises, or social media incidents with professionalism and tact.
- Escalate issues to relevant teams when necessary.
|
|
8) Collaboration with Other Departments |
|
- Work closely with marketing, customer service, and product teams to align content with overall business goals.
- Coordinate with influencers, brand ambassadors, or partners for collaborations.
|
|
9) Staying Updated with Trends |
|
- Keep up with the latest social media trends, tools, and platforms.
- Innovate new ways to engage and grow the online community.
|
|
|
Requirements |
|
|
|
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Mass Communication, Broadcasting, Multimedia, Graphic Design, Business Management, or related field
- Strong interest in e-commerce and online marketing.
- Excellent command of English and Malay, both spoken and written.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate engaging content.
- Basic knowledge of SEO and paid advertising is a plus.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
